Migrant history of the Eastern Shore is perhaps sporadically known (I know little about it myself), yet it was and continues to be a significant part of Eastern Shore history. The Nabb Research Center has a wonderful video and photograph exhibit of the work of Phil Decker who in the 1980s documented part of this history. And while his work centered on Haitian migrants, the work touches on some of the diversity of the history. Take a look, it is a wonderful video at http://nabbhistory.salisbury.edu/new_website/digitalexhibt.asp.
